Choosing your business type and industry wording

What it is

When you choose your industry, such as salon, spa, personal trainer, clinic, studio, restaurant or other, Bookatu rewords the booking page and the app to suit your trade.

Why it helps

The booking button, the services heading, the words for your team and your rooms, and the client portal all read naturally for your kind of business. A trainer books sessions with a trainer at a training location, a clinic offers treatments with a practitioner in a treatment room, and a restaurant invites guests to reserve a table from the menu.

How to use it

1. 1Set your business type in Settings when you start, or change it later.
2. 2Switching updates the wording across your booking page and the client portal, for example the booking button, the services heading, and the names used for your staff.
3. 3Your bookable resources are renamed to match too, so they read as Rooms, Treatment rooms, Training locations or Tables depending on your trade.
