Shipping and collect-in-store for product orders

Choose whether each product ships or is collected, and track every order.

What it is

Every product you sell is either shippable, where Stripe checkout collects the client's shipping address, or pay-online-collect-in-store, where the client pays now and picks it up from you.

Why it helps

You can sell to clients who cannot get in, or keep things simple with click-and-collect. You decide per product, and each order is tracked from payment to handover.

How to use it

  1. 1Mark a product shippable if you will post it, or leave it as collect-in-store. Shippable products ask the buyer for a delivery address at checkout.
  2. 2Orders appear under Sales, Orders. An order starts as Paid, then becomes Fulfilled once you ship it, or Collected once the client picks it up. An order can also be Cancelled or Refunded.
  3. 3When you have posted an order, mark it Fulfilled. When a client collects in store, mark it Collected. The status keeps you and the client clear on where things are.
  4. 4Refunds run through Stripe (see Refunds and cancellation charges). Refunding an order returns the money to the buyer.
  5. 5Bookatu does not buy postage or print shipping labels. You post the item yourself, and the order status tracks it.
